Squeeze

 In the 1970s, there were many bands that had great success with New Wave Music.  Among them was UK band Squeeze who had such hits Black Coffee in Bed and Cool for Cats.  They sold many albums in the UK from the late 1970s in to the 1990s.  They did not do as well in America, but did do a decent bit of sales there.

 The band's two main members were Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook.  Those two artists penned all the Squeeze songs and really were the ones who formed the band's image and musical inclinations.  The band has not always had the best of times and broke up for a time in the 1980s and then later in 1999.  They reunited a second time in 2007 and toured American and the UK.  Primarily the touring was with old hits, but they began making new music in 2009, but have not yet they debuted that to the public. 

Squeeze continues to tour and will be on the Spot the Difference Tour in America this summer, followed with a return to the UK.  They are expected to play a few days with fellow UK-band The Beat, known as the English Beat in America.  That is expected to be a great matchup and will no doubt be a big seller in the UK and in America.  If you are a fan of New Wave or British rock group Squeeze, you should definitely look into getting tickets to the show.
