Fuel

 Fuel is a hard rock band that has been around since 1989 when they known as "Small the Joy."  The name "Fuel" did not come until five years later.  The band originated in America, with the original members, guitarist Carl Bell and drummer Jody Abbott hailing from Brownsville, Tennessee.  The pair added a couple more members in 1994, including bass player Jeff Abercrombie, and moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  While their first album sold well locally, they were not put onto a national stage until 1997, when their second album was released by Sony.

 Original member Carl Bell became a music producer and has written music for movies and television.  Abercrombie is the owner of a famous rehearsing and recording studio in Los Angeles called Thud Studios.  After some time off, Fuel reformed in April 2010, with a new website and a tour schedule. 

The reformation of the band and a new tour scheduled has caused a great deal of excitement for Fuel's fan base, as well as younger people who are just now becoming familiar with their music.  Too young, perhaps, to have followed Fuel in the 90s, a new generation of hard rock fans is getting to know this group and just what their music is all about.
