Just as there are pre-professional sports teams, there are also dance companies that aren't quite professional but soon will be. One of the best pre-professional dance companies in the country is called the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet, where more than 40 classically trained dancers up to age 18 perform original works choreographed and staged by professionals. These are the young dancers who will be on a Broadway Stage or performing Swan Lake at the Bolshoi Theatre some day.
